PSA Nitrogen Gas Plants - MS Model
"SAM" PSA Nitrogen Gas Plants are based on widely used PSA technology, which consists of twin tower system filled with special grade of carbon molecular sieves (C.M.S.) at a time, one tower keeps in production cycle and other in regeneration cycle. Desiccant has its preferential properties for adsorption of moisture first and then Oxygen by a systematic process. When compressed air passed through C.M.S. bed, the molecules of oxygen, moisture & other unwanted gases are adsorbed on surface of C.M.S. and the nitrogen which is not adsorbed by C.M.S comes out of adsorption tower and is collected in a surge vessel.- This model is simplest to produce Nitrogen of purity in range from 95% to 99.99%.
Even 99.9999% can be produced from this model, but, is not feasible because of higher operating cost, as such MS Models are recommended for 99.99% purity for applications ranging from Food and Packaging, Purging or inertization applications.
